Procedures for Making a Passport Online:

  1. Create an account in the Online Passport Queue application

To get a passport creation queue number you must create an account first at https://antrian.imigrasi.go.id/ or download the application for free through Google Play or the App Store.

To create an account, you are asked to enter an e-mail address and telephone number. After having an account, you are asked to choose the address of one of the Immigration Offices that you want to go to. The office address does not have to match the KTP address, but choose one that is easier to reach. Next, choose a schedule for when to make an arrival at the Immigration Office.

After that, you will receive a pdf format file that must be downloaded. The file in the form of a barcode is then printed or printed for later shown to the officer when visiting the Immigration Office.

  1. Prepare the files needed to make the passport

In addition to having to carry the barcode queue, upon arrival at the Immigration Office, you must bring the following files:

  • Valid ID Card (KTP; make sure your KTP is e-KTP)
  • Family Card
  • Birth certificate or baptism letter
  • Marriage certificate or marriage book, diploma
  • Old passport, if you want to extend your passport
  • Come to the Immigration Office

As said earlier, making an online passport does not mean that you do not come to the Immigration Office. You must still come to the Immigration Office to verify data or files and interviews. Don't forget to bring the queue barcode and the files that are needed.

When interviewed here, you will usually be asked why you need the passport. After the interview process, you will be welcome by the clerk to pay the cost of making passports and administration. Payment can be made through the bank. The passport that you make will not immediately become that day. But the new will be available at least four working days to one week.
